SDR and AE specialization with ramp
I get an SDR and AE role split where each role owns distinct responsibilities, carries a ramp period and a full-ramp quota, and hands off leads on explicit criteria.
You receive: A JSON object { roles: [{ role, responsibilities, rampMonths, quotaAtFullRamp }], handoffCriteria } describing the specialized roles and the handoff.

| SDR | Own top-of-funnel for STUD: work the content-led inbound stream (SEO, developer docs, launch communities), qualify signups against the target profile (solo and early-stage founders and small product teams), run a first-value walkthrough that gets a new signup to run one play from their own workspace facts, and book a pack conversation only when the handoff criteria below are met. The SDR never negotiates price and never owns the pack decision. | 3 | 40 |
| AE | Own conversion and expansion: take SDR-qualified accounts that have already run plays, map the buyer's recurring work onto the 265-play catalog, land the right first pack (500 credits for $20, 1,000 for $40, 2,500 for $100, 5,000 for $200), and grow accounts by wiring more of the venture's standing work into plays. The AE owns the commercial relationship after handoff, including larger and more frequent pack purchases and the annual prepay packs, and feeds churn-risk signals back to the SDR playbook. | 6 | 25 |
Handoff Criteria
- The account has completed at least 3 play runs from its own workspace facts (activation proven, not a tour): the buyer has seen a deliverable land against their real business.
- The account matches the target profile: a solo or early-stage founder or a small product team with recurring marketing, finance, product, or engineering work, or an ops or engineering lead adopting AI agents.
- The buyer has stated a recurring work need the catalog covers, mapped by the SDR to at least 2 named plays, so the AE conversation opens on the buyer's work, not on features.
- A pack conversation is booked with the economic decision maker (for most target accounts this is the founder), with the SDR's activation notes attached in the account record.
- Illustrative quota basis, labeled: SDR full-ramp quota is 40 qualified handoffs per month against the illustrative launch scenario (200 signups, 40 activated buyers in month 1); AE full-ramp quota is 25 net new paid accounts per month (a first pack bought, illustrative average first pack $42) at the illustrative $300 average annual revenue per account (about $25 a month on packs). Both figures are illustrative planning targets, not committed metrics.
