Privacy Policy
Last updated October 14, 2026
This policy explains what personal information STUD collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. STUD is a trade name of TELEVORT INC, a Delaware corporation. TELEVORT INC is responsible for this information.
What we collect
- Account: your email address. When you sign in with GitHub, we also receive your GitHub name, email address, profile image, and account ID.
- Your workspace: the facts, documents, and run inputs you add, and the outputs STUD produces for you.
- Payments: Stripe processes your card or wallet payment. We keep a Stripe customer ID and a record of each purchase (pack, amount, date). We never receive or store your full card number.
- Messages: your email address if you join the waitlist or news list, and your name, email address, and message if you use a contact form or write to support.
- Usage: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, times) and, on stud.com, Google Analytics measurement of the pages you view.
- Referrals: if you arrive through a partner or referral link, we store the referrer's handle in a cookie for 60 days and record the referral on your account.
Cookies
We use a cookie to keep you signed in, a referral cookie (stud_ref, 60 days) when you arrive through a partner link, and Google Analytics cookies to measure how stud.com is used. You can block cookies in your browser; signing in needs the session cookie.
How we use it
- To provide STUD: run your plays, show your outputs, and keep your workspace.
- To process payments and refunds, and to prevent fraud and abuse, including the daily purchase limit.
- To answer you, and to send service messages such as receipts and account notices. We send news only if you asked for it.
- To understand and improve STUD, using aggregated information that does not identify you or your business.
- To meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that run STUD for us: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Stripe (payments), Resend (sign-in email), GitHub (sign-in), Google (analytics), and AI model providers that may process a run's inputs to produce its output. They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
- Partners: when a partner referred you, we record the referral so the partner can be credited. We do not share your workspace or your runs with partners.
- Legal and safety: when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of STUD, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: if TELEVORT INC is part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer under the protections of this policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and workspace information while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information, except records we must keep for accounting, tax, audit, or legal reasons, such as payment records and the settlement records of runs.
Your choices and rights
You can view and edit your workspace facts in STUD. To access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, write to support@stud.com from the email address on your account. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the European Union), you may have more rights; we honor requests as the law requires and do not treat you differently for making one.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and established providers. No system is perfectly secure; if you find a problem, write to support@stud.com.
Children
STUD is for adults using it for work. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Where information is processed
STUD is operated from the United States, and information is processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We post changes here with a new date, and tell you about a material change by email or in STUD.
