Terms of Service
Last updated October 14, 2026
These terms govern your use of STUD.com. STUD is a trade name of TELEVORT INC, a Delaware corporation. In these terms, "STUD", "we", and "us" mean TELEVORT INC.
By creating an account, buying credits, or running a play, you agree to these terms. If you use STUD for a company, you agree on its behalf and confirm you can bind it.
1. What STUD does
STUD offers plays: defined pieces of business work, each with a published acceptance check. When you run a play, STUD computes the output with software, or your own AI produces it from STUD's brief, and STUD checks it against that play's acceptance check. Outputs are delivered to your workspace on stud.com.
2. Your account
You sign in with a link we email you, or with GitHub. You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. Keep your account secure; you are responsible for what happens under it. If you believe someone used your account without permission, write to support@stud.com.
3. Credits
- You pay for runs with credits. One credit is worth 4 US cents. Credits are sold in packs at the prices shown on the Credits page; larger packs include bonus credits.
- Purchased credits, including the bonus credits that come with a pack, do not expire.
- Credits can be used only for plays on STUD. They are not transferable, have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for cash, except as section 5 describes or where the law requires.
- Each play shows its cost in credits before you run it. The credits are spent when the run starts.
- A play STUD computes runs once and is checked at once. For a play your own AI produces, a failed check is not refunded: STUD gives you the names of the checks that failed, with hints, and your AI may revise and submit again, up to 5 checked submissions within 7 days of the start.
- The credits for a run return to your balance only if STUD is at fault: its checker is unavailable, it cannot check the work on the inputs the run started with before any submission has been checked, or it cannot compute a play it computes itself (including when it does not deliver within 72 hours).
- The number of credits a play costs may go down at any time. It goes up only after 30 days' notice posted on STUD, and never for a run already started.
- To limit fraud, purchases are capped at $2,000 per account per day. We may also limit the number of runs an account can start in a day.
4. Partner and referral credits
We may grant free credits through partners, referrals, or promotions. Free credits have no cash value, are used before purchased credits, expire 90 days after they are granted, may be limited to certain plays until your first purchase, and are not refundable. If a purchase is refunded or disputed, free credits tied to it may be removed or limited again.
5. Refunds
Within 14 days of a purchase, you can get a full refund of that purchase if none of your purchased credits have been used. Using free credits does not count against this. To ask, write to support@stud.com from the email address on your account. The Refunds page has the details.
If we close your account for a reason other than a breach of these terms, or if we stop offering STUD, we refund the unused purchased credits in your balance.
6. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars, and taxes are added where they apply. Payments appear on your card statement as STUD.COM.
If you think a payment is wrong, contact us first and we will work it out with you. If you dispute a payment with your bank, the credits from that payment are removed from your balance.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of what you put into STUD (workspace facts, documents, and run inputs) and of the outputs you receive. You let us store, process, and use that content to provide, secure, and support STUD for you, including through the service providers named in our Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the right to provide it.
We may use aggregated information that does not identify you or your business to understand and improve STUD.
8. What an output is, and is not
An output is produced by software and AI and checked against its play's published acceptance check. Passing that check means the output meets the check's stated criteria; it does not mean the output is right for your situation.
Outputs are not legal, tax, financial, accounting, or investment advice, and STUD is not a law firm or an accounting firm. Review an output before you rely on it, and consult a qualified professional for decisions that need one.
9. Acceptable use
Do not use STUD to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or submit content you have no right to share. Do not try to reach other accounts or their data, interfere with or overload the service, probe or bypass its security or limits, scrape it at scale, or resell access or credits without our written permission.
10. Suspension and closing an account
You can stop using STUD at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts STUD or other people at risk, and we tell you why unless the law or a safety concern prevents it.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For a material change, we post the new terms with a new date and tell you by email or in STUD at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using STUD after that, the new terms apply.
12. Disclaimers
STUD is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to STUD is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about these terms, and both parties consent to them.
