Scope of the check
What's verified: STUD verifies the objective structural shell only: that the six key-term sections the source names are present and non-empty, that both parties are named, that the buyer's supplied term length, exclusivity choice, payment structure phrase, guarantees, and revenue split appear where they belong, that a stated split sums to 100, and that the document stays under the word cap. The subjective core is NOT settleable and is not checked: whether the terms are favorable to you, negotiable, legally sound, or enforceable, and whether the language would survive a lawyer's read. The one-page bound is checked as a word cap (max_words, default 450), not as typography or rendered page count. The source gestures at simplicity ("as simple as possible, often just one page", "fewer lawyers") rather than prescribing a template; the six-section structure is the book's key-term list, not a legal standard, and STUD does not verify that a simpler or different structure would not serve the deal better.
