ELG readiness score with the adopt-or-wait call

A placement on the value-proposition axis and the company-scale axis of the ELG readiness matrix, the quadrant those placements imply (WAIT, INVEST, EXPLORE, or EXPAND) with the book's standard call for it, a rationale per placement grounded in your own evidence, and a velocity note on which way the company is heading.

You receive: A short readiness brief: the two axis placements with their rationale (each rationale citing the buyer's own evidence), the named quadrant and its standard recommendation, and a velocity note on which way the company is heading on each axis. The brief ends with a labeled verdict block (Value proposition placement, Value proposition resolved side, Scale placement, Scale resolved side, Quadrant, Recommendation, Velocity) that the checker reads.

Scope of the check

What's verified: What settles by machine: that the two axis placements follow from your own declared selects under the published mapping, that a middle placement resolves by the published velocity tie-break, that the named quadrant is the one the two placements imply on the book's 2x2, that the recommendation is the book's standard call for that quadrant, that each placement's rationale actually reuses your own evidence text, and that the velocity note names a direction per axis. What does not settle by machine: whether your self-assessment is honest, whether the select bucket you chose truly captures where you sit on the book's spectrum, and whether the resulting call is right for your business. The axis mapping, the quadrant calls, and the middle-zone tie-break are the ELG readiness matrix from the book Ecosystem-Led Growth (a framework drawn from Crossbeam's vantage point), not a law; the tie-break for a 'holding' middle placement is this play's published convention. One correction to the earlier draft of this play: the book's value-proposition axis measures dependence on partners (stand-alone to ecosystem), not strength (weak to strong), so the strength answer informs the rationale while the added orientation select drives the placement.
